Presidents Report

Dear PanTowners:

We had a wonderful time at Roy and Colleen Bernick's for our general meeting-thanks to them both for hosting yet again our June meeting. The meeting was highly attended, and we did sign up quite a few new members. Thanks also to Roy and Colleen for the special "prizes" they donated for the drawings-great folding chairs!

We are pleased to attend the Old Creamery, with our cars, again this year for our July general meeting. Please get your money in, or at least call me beforehand, so we can get a final count a few days prior to the meeting.

This coming weekend, June 26-27, is the Great MN Air show. We will have news of this event next month. Thanks to Nick and all the volunteers who are helping to put this event on with our Pan automobile.

Just a quick note to remind you that August 11th, 5-8pm, the Pantowners are hosting the Multi-Club Car Cruise-in at the Pelican Lake Ballroom in St. Anna. I hear the chicken is great!

To remind you that our August general meeting will be at the Benton Co. Fairgrounds.

We saw two Pantowners at the Avon parade, Jim Stodolka and Pete Voigt with their super cars and trucks. Thank you to both for attending-the weather was great. While the weather was not always so great, thanks to the folks (I think there were 16 cars in attendance) who attended the VA Vets Hospital Family Day on Saturday the 19th. The residents and their families thanked us for coming; they were very appreciative.

Just a heads-up a few up-coming events (call me with questions): July 8 lola Car Show, lola, WI. July 10 Veterans Park in Sauk Centre, coordinated by the Long Prairie Car Club. July 30, 2 - 9 P m is the 9 t h Annual Albany Heritage Day parade. And, the 36th Annual Lone Eagle Auto Club Car Show/Swap Meet will be on September 12th, 7-4pm.

Roy Bernick is arranging for a bus trip to Minneapolis to see the truly outstanding car collection of the owner of Morrie's Imports-likely will be in August or possibly September.

Well, summer may be upon us very soon. Certainly, the heat is on us during this busy parade and show season. See me or Shawn if you want to parade and need a sign for your car. Many of you will be attending different shows, parades, and displays. As you attend, please let me know or Shawn so we can keep proper track of them.

Hello fellow Pantowners,

We are right in the middle of car shows, displays, and parades. We are doing our best to list many different programs, but especially in this issue of the Siftings on the primary ones. See the "Events" page for a current listing of upcoming events.

At this point, we are just trying to register for the programs and bring it to your attention. We mayor may not obtain, unfortunately, our number in a parade, a line-up time, or other essential information.

Please call Rich or Betty Grimley, or Shawn with questions. Betty may have names of those who attended individual parades.

Carshow Chairman's Report

Hello Fellow Pantowners,
Well our car show is fast approaching, is everyone ready? We will have a Car Show Chairperson Meeting on July 13th at The Moose Lodge at 7: 30 pm. Please try to attend, everyone is welcome.

We will be packing goodie bags on Tuesday August 3rd at 6 pm.at Mike and Betty Schmitt's shop. The address is 8201 Delta Circle, St Joe Industrial Park East. Coming from the east on Cty Rd 75 turn right at Stonehouse. All members are welcome to help. We will have a pot luck so bring your favorite dish and a chair, I will have refreshments.

I still need some people to do security. New members this is your chance to get involved with the show.

If anyone has any questions please call me. I appreciate everything you all do and your willingness to help is what makes this club GREAT!

One last thing, I still have some t-shirts in certain sizes available.
